'Reasoned' into Faith?

No one in the Bible was EVER "reasoned" into faith. They can however be reasoned into church membership which has nothing to do with salvation or faith. It is intellectual assent or "head" faith and may be accompanied with a high God consciousness received from participating in empty ritual and dead religious works.
1 Corinthians 1:22-23

22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks[a] foolishness,

Here is the ONLY way to faith in Christ:
1 Corinthians 1:21

21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

AND: John 6:65

New King James Version (NKJV)

65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

The basic question for EVERY professing Christian/church member is does he have heart faith or intellectual assent/"head" faith accompanied with a high God consciousness received from participating in empty ritual and dead religious works.

People pray for someone receive Saving Knowledge. Knowledge doesn't save. We should pray for them to receive saving faith.

Mirmah in Hebrew means- deceitful.
Kalal in Hebrew means - boast.
Some times tough love is necessary to try get person back on the right path. But Satan uses flattery and causes confusion. Before he roughs you up.

Proverbs 27:1. Boast not thyself of to morrow, for thou know not what a day may bring forth.

Not to boast of big things someone will do about tomorrow. We leave future to God.

27:3. A stone is heavy and the sand weighty, but fools wrath is heavier that them both.

Fool is heavier to you than both stone and sand of being heavy. When fools wrath comes, no telling what he or she will accuse you of. Stay away from fools. Identity them from there mouth and garbage that flows from it.

27:5. Open rebuke is better than secret love.

Open rebuke in sense you hold back your feelings and don't allow other person to know how much you love them. Is better than secret love.

Matter of facing reality with honesty in the matter. If you truly love that person, you won't allow trouble to come there way.

27:6. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but kisses of a enemy are deceitful.

The truth hurts, especially coming from friends. Flip side of the coin, rubber mouth down the street makes compliments about you and not word he or she says is true.

You know it and every one else. Satan's top method is flattery. Pride goes before destruction.

27:11. My son, be wise, and make my heart glad. That I may answer him that reproach me.

Nothing like friends who stand by you when things get tough. Wisdom is loving God and He will protect you.

23:17. Let not thine heart envy sinners. But be thou in the fear of the Lord all day long.

Watch out who you associate with and reverence only God. If neighbors violate your trust by mischief, threats or harassment, they have a unhappy neighbor who will never trust them again.

23:27. For a whore is a deep ditch, and strange woman is a narrow pit.

Strange woman is Nakar, forgein woman that doesn't follow ways of God. There are lot of cultures that are not good for Christian to marry..

23:33. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

A drunk has no common sense in their actions and strange woman takes advantage of you . Drunk doesn't know what they're doing and alcohol ruins families and help is needed.

Psalm 125:3. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous, lest the righteous put forth their hands unto inquity.

The false shepherd, Satan. Those who are in sanctuary of God and have seal of God, you have the mountains of God around you to protect you. When Satan as antichrist comes near future, doesn't matter what antichrist says or does.

Those who have holy Spirit will fulfill Mark chapter 13:11 - 13.

Satan's rod won't be upon those who have seal of God. You won't cross under Satan's rod as one of his, those who have seal of God are under Jesus rod..

Those who worship antichrist near future won't be under Jesus rod. Ephesians chapter 6, gospel armour is only way to stand against antichrist. Spiritual warfare is words, concepts and doctrine. Those who intend to make stand for Jesus. Peace.

A person who is "of the truth" may see in the gospel that which is "reasonable", true and trustworthy.
