RSS feeds

Was just wondering what people thought of these?

Now that I'm using Feedreader I'm finding them more and more useful. Recently I've set up a few Google news alerts, but I'm thinking of cancelling them because if you select the correct feeds I find the results you get tend to be more relevant for what you're looking for.

Opinions/thoughts?

Some time on, and I'm still using Feedreader, along with Live Bookmarks in Firefox. Live Bookmarks would be better if you had some kind of alert that you'd received something new (like the spinning box you see in your taskbar with Feedreader).

You can also add RSS feeds to your "My Yahoo!" page, but the list could become very long.

On the whole as a means for getting up-to-date relevant content I think that RSS feeds are extremely useful. :p

not to mention podcasting - trying to set one up on our church site now. Very confusing when trying to use a database as well but it will be with it: people will be able to subscribe and download the latest radio program or bible study automatically.
