The best time to pray

One of the greatest gifts God has blessed us with is the ability to come before Him and seek His intervention on our behalf through prayer. Through prayer, we are invited to participate in His presence, humbly acknowledge our need for Him, and joyfully acknowledge our reliance on Him.

Believers call the time set aside to talk with God every day be quiet time. This is the basic spiritual activity of our relationship with God, taking us from ritual to reciprocal relationship. We talk to God and He speaks to us through His word privately. Although the Bible does not explicitly state what the best time to pray is or to what extent we should do it. However, the Bible records the habits of many righteous people. Jesus and lion canvas
Setting a time and place to be with the Lord is a must to have a quiet time. While prayer is a beautiful gift, many people admit that they don't often incorporate prayer into their daily routine. We are busy sometimes. Sometimes we get distracted. Other times, we may feel there are more pressing needs in our lives than prayer.
Prayers are something that God wants us to practice. He wants us to access His power, wisdom, and guidance as we face our daily schedule's stresses, struggles, and surprises. But when should we pray? What is the best time to pray? Consider what James says in chapter 5 of his letter…
We can pray at the time we go to bed, or when we wake up early in the morning. Many people want to start their day by listening and talking to God. This passage shows the Lord praying early in the morning (Mark 1:35). But there is also the matter with God. The passage shows the Lord praying in the afternoon and night (Luke 6:12). The Lord meditated in different places: “going into a lonely place to pray” (Mark 1:35b). “He went up to the mountain to pray privately, and in the evening he was there alone” (Matthew 14:23). We need to choose a suitable, fixed place so that the quiet time is suitable for us so that we won't be disturbed by anyone or anything.
After choosing a time and place for your quiet time, you need to commit to respecting this time. Commit to honoring your alone time with God, or you won't make it more than a week.
Use different meditation methods. If your personal quiet time becomes dry, perfunctory, or boring, first examine your heart with God, and then review your method. You may need to change routines. Volunteering is a time of intimacy between you and God. Find ways to keep the relationship alive, and your quiet time won't be boring.
Pray with anticipation, read the Bible with anticipation. Don't let your devotion become a formality. Pray before reading the Bible asking God to reveal something to you through His word. Meditate on what you read, think about the meaning of God's Word to your situation, and write down ideas and things you want to apply in a notebook.
Share your feelings with God. Remember that when we meditate we are coming before the One who knows us more than we know ourselves. If you feel hurt, sad, say something to God. If you are happy, in doubt, or afraid, share it with God. He wants to be your true friend.
How is your devotional time - sweet, loving, or daily routine? What effect does your quiet time have on those who live near you?
Lord, I have set a time and place to meet You daily. Please help me keep this commitment. make this hour alive, joyful, and blessed for you.

The destroyer is Satan. Devil will pursue and over take you at your weakness. Satan has sword and those involved in traditions of men don't have chance without gospel armour of Ephesians chapter 6. Machats in Hebrew means destroy.
Pathah in Hebrew means deceive.
Emunah in Hebrew means stability. Satan will use same tactics as false teachers. Remember in job, Satan has six traps in end times, final generation.

This is song of Moses and children of Israel. Congealed # 7087 is used once in the Bible. Qatseh comes from # 7066. Qatsah, the prime, bowl to make hollow, like curdle milk. Flood of lies Satan as antichrist in last generation. Satan has no chance from those who have seal of God. Like God holding walls of water back to escape.

Exodus 15:1. Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumph gloriously. The horse and his rider hath He thrown in the sea.

Song is about redemption. Song actually starts in fourth verse.

15:3. The Lord is man of war. The Lord is his name.

When your in sanctuary of God, you're enemies are God's enemies. Pharaoh learned hard way to do battle with Jesus. God is gentle with those He loves. God is at war against those who try put his children in bondage. We're going through tribulation of false Christ near future. Those involved in traditions of men and false doctrine don't have chance.

15:6. Thy right hand o Lord, is become glorious in power. Thy right hand, o Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Who sits at right hand of God the Father? Jesus Christ. He was crucified in the flesh so Christian people can repent and be forgiven. Jesus shed His blood so we can have repentance.

15::8 . And with the blast of Thy nostrils the waters were gathered together. The floods stood upright as an heap. And the depth were congealed in the heart of the sea.

The Rauch, breathe of God, is holy Spirit stood waters of the red sea upright. Meaning, the waters were congealed. Made solid as ice in upright position.

Revelation 12:15. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

This flood is lies and deception. Satan goes by many names, he is role actor playing different roles. Satan and his fallen angels will arrive 6th trump to take over one world religious system. Its five months period. Serpent Satan will try to wash away any one who stands in his way. Knowledge of God's word and stability.

Those who have spiritual discernment will see through Satan's lies. Satan's flood of lies will wash away many people. Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

15:9. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will over take, I will divide the spoil, My lust shall be satisfied upon them, I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

The enemy Satan speaking here, how he will over take those with out spiritual discernment. Satan's method for destruction. First to pursue and over take your weakness. Take positive in your life God gave and turn it to his use. The same lust and satisfaction he seeks, he will draw you in to have same mind set Satan has.

Satan's sword is lies and deception and destroy you with false doctrine and lies. Those under misguided preachers, Satan will take them down real quick. Why would child of God be afraid of Satan. You and God make a majority. The saints have the victory.

15:10. Thou did blow with Thy wind, the sea covered them. The sank as lead in the mighty waters.

God held walls of water back, and pharaoh and his army were destroyed. Body of Christ should be thankful for the protection winds of the holy Spirit that blow evil out there lifes. Friends, the enemies of the cross don't have chance of coming out ahead.

The tribulation of antichrist is death trap to those who won't study sound doctrine. The bridge is up one day for God's children to pass over safely to the other side. And next it went into the waters and drown all those that were in it. That's why Christian people study His word and prepare themselves. God told us when bridge is up and when its down. Those who fear Satan's system show lack of trust to God. Mark 13:9-11 of what Christian people are supposed to do.

I'm inclined to think that the best time to pray is different for everyone. I know plenty of people who pray first thing in the morning. I'm not a morning person, so for me it tends to be at night, preferrably after my kids have gone to bed.

Working on praying more though. It can't just be one time in the day, feel like I'm being taught that more and more. Not in a bad way, but in an encouraging, loving way.

I agree with you @Toneboy
It doesn't matter what time we pray.
I haven't got a regular time to pray
Shorter prayer in the morning usually, and longer at night time
O often talk to the Lord any time during the day

I do realize that I should pray more in the morning and will work on that

I just pray my heart out until it wears me out, all hours of the day, or night, as I'm alone all the time now and don't have any work or social life or family or personal company etc. and now no hobbies either because of the wretched virus and the wretched demon spirit that I was born forcibly infected with, which won't get off my back and let me just get on with life, so I cry out to God but it looks like it all just gets ignored wen I'm in desperate urgent need because I need to get right with God like what should've happened right from day one as soon as I committed myself just like what happens with anyone else, but where is my share?! So I try and do like He says in Luke chapters 11 &18 where the Lord says we should pray persistently so I do. And it's mentioned twice in the same book so it must be seriously important so I just try and apply what it says but where IS the Lord when I'm in such desperate urgent need, honestly I had far more freedom during the pandemic but now I'm stuck in an insane level of brutally enforced lockdown all because of a brutal contagious infection ruining my hands and I normally work with my hands as I have a range of DIY skills and specialist knowledge but now I have to wear wretched nitrile gloves to do stuff and I can only wear them for far too short periods so now I can do almost nothing and it's almost like solitary confinement in prison which is seriously unhealthy but what can I do if I just can't reach my maker? And what can you do with ruined hands? just about all remotely normal and constructive activity depends on clean healthy hands.
